Hi Alvin and Bob,

I've been talking to my contacts at our supply warehouses. We'll take care of the store by store distribution. Our best market research indicates that we'll be selling approximately 12 Apollo computers per month at each of our stores. So to guarantee stock, I'd like to be able to inventory at least 2400 for our opening month of April. I need to know how many you can reasonably produce in what timeframe so I can assess the rest of the numbers before talking to my district managers.

I assume you're looking to warehouse an inital order, then based on four weeks of sales, begin to estimate how many you'll need over the duration of the contract?

If so, then we can probably pull together and product test about 150 Apollos a week. Since the tech support warranty is with you, and the equipment warranty is with us, things should be easier.

Yeah, that's the idea. I think that over the course, we expect to sell 4000 units in total. However, I know that since hardware is so perishable, I don't want to leave you with too much unloaded inventory.

Well, we first have to get the equipment from our suppliers. We have a good buy in, so transactions are fast. So we'll stick to the original 2400, then after 4 weeks, we can negotiate the remainder. Sound good to you?
